| Excellence of TiN coating  |
TiN Super-hard membrane is by PVD method, in vacuum furnace, vaporized titanium reacts with imparted nitrogen into nitrising titanium, coated on the surface of tools in a certain golden membrane, very slim, hard and attachable. PVD method is carried into below 500C at its utmost, lower than hi-speed steel, SKD61 and SKD11. Therefore, coating is done after mold is made without the risks of being softened or transformed. The thickness of TiN measures only 1-4  m, almost nothing to do with precision and sharpness of cutlery.TiN membrane belongs to a super-hard ceramic compound whose hardness reaches over HV 2000, harder than carbonized tungsten alloy and whose adhesion, solubility and frictional coefficient is largely reduced and anti-erosion is highly promoted after property treated, more beneficial to tool-users. |
